Name: Latino Fest Boise 2019
Date: August 31, 2019
Time: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM MDT
Event Description:

The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate of Mexico announce the fifth edition of the "Latino Fest". The date is Saturday, August 31, from 4:00 to 10:00 pm. The event has outgrown the Basque Block and this year it will be located at Cecil D. Andrus Park, in front of the Idaho State Capitol. Latino Fest Boise has become the most awaited event of the Latino community and local people. The city of Boise is growing really fast and we are excited because every year the cultural life of Idaho is enriched. Relationships between Hispanics, Latinos and the local community are strengthened day by day and we share together our culture and artistic expressions such as music, dance, gastronomy, visual arts workshops and more. This year, we have invited three talented bands that will make us dance, sing and rocking with their live music and will give us joy with their Latin rhythms in the park, in front of the Capitol. We will open the festival with a great concert with "Eddy Manzanares & Café Blanco Band", playing Latin-Jazz, Bossanova, Rumba Flamenca, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha and Son Cubano; the second concert will be in charge of the best rock band in Spanish and English in Idaho "Special Reserve"; and to close with the icing on the cake, the famous salsa singer Danny Daniel, will arrive from his native country, Colombia, to give a great performance. For the first time in this festival, we are pleased to present traditional dancers from Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Mexico. And also, as every year, you will enjoy the Latin music of DJ Giovanni, workshops for children and the cuisine of different countries such as Cuba, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and Mexico. The event is free and is intended for all ages.
