No One Eats Alone is a student-led nonprofit that has become a beacon of hope and connection at Twin Falls and Canyon Ridge High Schools over the past few years.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that every student feels seen, valued, and included. In a world where many teens struggle with loneliness, anxiety, and feeling invisible, especially after personal or school-wide tragedies, our events create space for real connection and emotional support.
What began four years ago with 300 students enjoying hot dogs and chips in the courtyard has grown into a movement. At our most recent event, we served over 1,000 meals and hosted resource booths from local mental health organizations. We watched students—from first-year students to seniors—sit together, laugh, and form friendships that extended far beyond lunch.
Our objective is to hold a one-connection event every semester. These picnics include music, games, community resource tables, and inclusive food options so that no one is left out—regardless of background, dietary needs, or social group.
We are proud of what’s been built at TFHS—and now we’re ready to expand. With the support of students, parents, and school staff, we plan to bring No One Eats Alone to various schools around the Magic Valley.
