- South Central Public Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse. This position is located in the Twin Falls Office. Incombent will perform professional nursing that may include client assessment, plan development, health education, clinical activities, case management, and provide direct nursing care; perform related work.
- Example of Duties
< >Epidemiology: Investigating reportable diseases and preventionof spread of diseases; Partner Services for STD positive individuals; Outbreak reporting and investigation; Clinical sample collection and submission; Testing for HIV and HCV at aternative sites.Immunizations: Provide immunizations to all clients we serve per ACIP reommendatons and agency policiesRefugee: Assist Refugee Program Coordinator with screening, immunizations and change of statusTB: Assist TB Program Coordinator with clinics, case management, and provide medicaitonto clients.Incumbents provide skilled nursing services in clinical settings; requiring independent clinical judgment.Patients or families may vary in socioeconomic, cultural, emotional, and/or physical needs.Some settings may involve lifting and moving patients or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Minimum Qualifications
< >Licensed as a Professional or Registered Nurse in Idaho as defined by Idaho Code 54-1408 or state licensure as a Registered Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418, in one of the following compact states: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin.Experience collecting and organizing public health data developing reportsValid driver's licenseSupplemental Information
